Jalapeno Cilantro Sauce
Products Used: Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Premium White Balsamic Vinegar
Ingredients:
5 Cups Cilantro lightly packed (leaves and some stems are fine)
4 big Jalapenos
6 cloves of Garlic
6 Tbsp Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Premium White Balsamic Vinegar
3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
Directions:
Heat broiler on high and arrange the Jalapenos and Garlic on a baking sheet. Broil until garlic starts to brown and Jalapenos start to blister. Turn once after a few minutes. Once done, stem and seed the Jalapenos for a milder version of this sauce. Otherwise, add the broiled Jalapenos and Garlic to food processor with all the other ingredients. Process until smooth. Maybe a minute or two. Scrape down sides as necessary. Taste and add salt if needed. You can also stir in more Premium White Balsamic Vinegar for desired texture.
Great as a marinade, dipping meats, slathered on eggs, tacos. Add to vinaigrette for a burst of flavor. Mix with mayo for a sandwich spread. You will find many more uses for this sauce!
